Revelation (Russell Ferrante)

An amazing composition by Yellowjackets' keyboard-player Russell Ferrante, where he effortless finds the edges of gospel and jazz. I arranged it for big band, lead singer and optional 3 part choir. In the middle there is a solo for tenor sax (written out in part as an example).

Below we hear the 50 years Anniversary Concert of students through the years of the Dutch Havo/vwo voor Muziek en Dans, the preparatory course of Codarts, the Rotterdam conservatory. Vocalist is Ricardo Burgrust.
