Bond Street

Big-band-chart, big-band-arrangement,

Bond Street (Burt Bacharach)

Together with Oxford Street and Regent Street, Bond Street is one of the major shopping streets in London.

Bacharachs music appears in the early James Bond comedy  ‘Casino Royale’ (1967) with Peter Sellers, loosely based on Ian Flemming’s first novel. The original title was “Home James, don’t spare the horses”.

It features the 1st alto and the pianist.

Below is Burt himself and his Orchestra. My big band arrangement follows his lines.
