Streetlife (Joe Sample/Will Jennings)

Unfortunately he passed away in 2014, the composer of this great song. Randy Crawford sang it.  I have taken the extended version from the Crusaders lp from 1979 as the basic form for this arrangement. It includes the beautiful slow intro where I use the saxes to accompany the singer. There is a solo for alto and trumpet (a written out solo is provided).

In this demo with computersounds we hear Charlotte Magnée doing the vocal part, Rogier de Mulder on alto and Kees van der Pols on muted trumpet.
